Dr. Richard Berliner is a SUNY Stony Brook graduate. He graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and received the "Excellence of Biomechanics" award in 1992. He completed a 24 month podiatric surgical residency at Beth Israel Hospital in New Jersey in 1994; including training in complex reconstructive foot surgery. He served as chief resident from 1993 - 1994. He has special interests in wound care, sports medicine and pediatric foot care.
